A wide indoor hall with pink-framed windows and colourful tasselled bunting hanging from the ceiling. Dozens of men and boys sit in rows on mats, many bare-chested or in white dhotis with yellow borders and orange-red cloths, with brass thalis, oil lamps and small offering plates set before them. Some have hands folded in prayer, and a few lean forward in concentration. Numerous seated devotees in the background wear white, pink and dark clothing. Ropes on posts divide the seating area, and a decorated altar with a small deity murti stands at the right edge. This appears to be a group puja or satsang with ritual offerings.
