The left panel shows a man with short dark hair, standing barefoot under a large banyan tree, wearing a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, a rudraksha mala around his neck, and hands pressed together at his chest. The right panel shows a black stone statue of a multi-armed deity seated on a pedestal, wearing an orange turban and orange garment with rudraksha beads, set in a carved white arch against a blue curtain, with red offerings in the foreground. The collage is a graphic, so no physical people are counted beyond the visible man.Outdoor shrine under a large banyan tree with aerial roots. A pink-and-red painted deity murti stands in an arched niche with orange draped cloth, beside a heap of red-powdered offerings on a dark base. In the foreground, a standing man with a shaved head wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over his shoulder and a dhoti-style lower garment, holding a small object in his hands before the shrine. Paved stone path and bare earth surround the site.2011-11-15 +1 copies2011 - Photo AlbumOutdoor photograph of a bare-footed man in a saffron-orange robe with long hair and a rudraksha mala, standing on a dark tiled platform with palms pressed together in namaste.
