A standing figure in a saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha-style waist cord, bare upper arm with gold bangles, and a white forehead mark stands at left with palms pressed together in prayer, facing a large black stone deity murti. The murti has four arms holding attributes, wears a green cloth and a red-and-green garland, and sits on a dark pedestal; a yellow cloth backdrop surrounds it within an ornate silver-toned arch. In front is a red-painted rock-like base with a brass bell and a small inscribed plaque. Trees and a bare ground courtyard fill the background.2013-02-26 +1 copiesNovember 18 20102010-11-18July 10 20112011-07-10 +2 copiesA barefoot man with long dark hair stands in a red-and-gold dhoti and matching shawl, hands pressed together in anjali before a black deity murti. The murti wears an orange garment and a red headband and holds raised ritual objects in its multiple arms, set in a yellow-curtained arched niche with white ornate framing. In front, a mound of red kumkum or vermilion offerings rests on a dais, and a kalasha sits nearby. Trees and leafy greenery fill the open outdoor shrine behind a dark stone floor. A rudraksha mala hangs at his neck. The man's appearance is not clearly identifiable as the a person from the image alone, so he is described by role as a devotee performing prayer.2011-09-16August 17 20092009-08-17January 23 20112011-01-23 +1 copiesOutdoor photo beneath large banyan trees with hanging aerial roots.
