A standing man in saffron-orange robes stands beside a carved stone pillar in a temple hall with orange walls and red-and-white striped borders. He wears a white and red flower garland across his chest, a long gold ceremonial necklace, and a red bindi, and has his hands folded at his chest. Beside him on a stone ledge are pink and yellow flower offerings and a small dark carved deity shrine. A man in white dhoti and shirt stands behind him beside drums, and orange curtains hang in the background.

A procession of saffron-robed sannyasis walks through a temple courtyard past a red-cushioned chair draped in orange cloth. On the chair stands a framed portrait of a woman in orange robes with a garland of marigolds and white flowers. A devotee in an orange robe bends to lay a garland before it. In the foreground a barefoot sannyasi with a long beard and a rudraksha mala walks forward, while behind him another wears a gold necklace and carries a trident. Several carry ceremonial staffs and a flag. A drummer plays at right beside a row of brass lamps and kalasha vessels, where women in white saris tend the puja offerings. Brass lamps and a garlanded deity murti stand at left.

A photograph of a stone temple shrine with carved pillars and red cloth drapes pulled back at the sides. Inside the shrine, a gilded arch frames a deity murti adorned with garlands and flowers, with a decorated stone platform below. In the foreground, a man with shoulder-length dark hair wears an orange saffron robe and a large garland of yellow, red and pink flowers, smiling as he walks past the shrine. To the right, a second man in an orange robe and orange turban holds a small brass plate and wears a white flower garland. In the background to the left, several people in white dhotis and orange sashes stand and sit near a white building. The man in the foreground shows distinctive long hair and a garland, but his appearance does not clearly establish identity, so he is described by role only.
