A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes stands outdoors smiling as a large white and green jasmine garland is draped over his shoulder by a woman in orange. He wears a gold-bead necklace, gold bangles and a red-and-white forehead mark. Behind him a man in an orange shawl with a forehead mark and a man in white dhoti stand near a red floral garland and a temple-like structure with teal roofs. A woman in white bends forward in the foreground. The man is presented with the garland in a welcoming ritual; the appearance cues of long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and gold beads are consistent with Swamiji (probable).2011-12-11December 30 20072007-12-30Outdoor ritual at a festival in a sunny palm-lined setting, with a thatched-roof pavilion behind. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a garland of marigolds stands centre-left, smiling and holding out a plate of offerings that includes pineapple, a coconut and a banana. Beside him, another person in orange robes holds a similar tray. Around them, several people in white ritual clothes stand with hands joined in greeting, and a figure in a yellow shawl kneels low at the bottom of the frame. One man at left holds a small metal vessel. A tall ceremonial staff topped with an ornate golden finial and a red-and-gold pennant stands in the background, along with a decorated banner. The scene suggests a sacred offering or aarti during a festival procession.2008-12-23Outdoor welcome on a dirt road lined with coconut palms. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a large white-and-red flower garland stands under a red parasol with fringed tassels, receiving a yellow-and-red flower garland offered by a younger saffron-robed attendant with shell-bead necklaces. A bearded attendant in saffron robes holds a silver vessel with mango leaves and yellow flowers. In the foreground, a man in white kneels and bows. A silver car with its headlights visible sits behind them, decorated with flower garlands.2008-12-25January 31 20092009-01-31Outdoor photo at a house entrance with a silver SUV parked beside an ornate gold gate. A man in a saffron-orange robe, long swept-back hair, a white forehead mark and a rudraksha mala stands smiling while a woman in a cream sari with a braid receives him. A man in white holds a white-and-red flower garland, and another man in white with a rudraksha mala stands at the right. Several onlookers in the background, including a child in front, watch from a crowd near a two-storey house with orange flag on its gate. The orange-robed man shows distinctive long hair, saffron clothing and a mala, which are appearance cues, but the identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2009-08-08December 23 20082008-12-23December 31 20092009-12-31February 01 2009 Kalpataru Convention at Coimbatore City2009-02-01January 01 20092009-01-01Outdoor scene at a temple-style building with arched white columns and red stacking chairs.
