Photograph taken at night inside a stone temple corridor at Tiruvannamalai. A man in a saffron-orange turban and saffron robe, wearing rudraksha malas and a bead necklace, stands at the centre, surrounded by a crowd of devotees. Around him are men in orange shawls and garlands, a man in white shirt and dhoti, a uniformed police officer in a blue cap at the lower left, and a boy in a striped shirt. Behind the crowd are stone pillars and a temple gateway. A tall poster with a red and white border shows a deity's bare feet and a Tamil caption, and yellow Tamil signboards hang on the walls, including one reading Amalaiyar Sannathi and another reading Hundial. Metal railings line the walkway.2008-01-02December 20 20112011-12-20December 20 20112011-12-20A procession walks down a stone-pillared temple corridor with carved granite walls and a tall gilded pillar or flagstaff at the centre.
