Photograph inside a room with marble walls and a blue curtain, a wall-mounted air conditioner and framed devotional pictures. A bearded man with long hair wears saffron robes and sits in a white chair with his palms pressed together in greeting, on a red-and-blue patterned rug. Facing him, a long-haired figure with bare upper back in saffron cloth stands with hands folded, and a saffron-robed man at left also joins palms. A man in white clothes stands at right beside a microphone stand, and an elderly woman in white sits on the floor behind a wooden chair. A poster on the wall shows deities and saffron-clad sages. a person is the seated bearded man in saffron, whose head-covering and flowing saffron robes are distinctive; the long-haired standing figure is a devotee or sannyasi.2006-05-22A photograph of an indoor event with a seated elderly bearded man in saffron-orange robes and a matching orange shawl draped over his head, sitting on a cushioned chair with a pale cloth. A younger man with long dark hair, bare-chested under an orange wrap, bends forward and reaches toward him, while a man in white stands behind them beside a framed painting of a sage in orange robes garlanded with marigolds. On the table sit a small orange bowl, books and a microphone; a blue draped backdrop and a red table cover fill the background. Several people in orange clothing are partly visible at the edges. Identity of the seated or bending figures is not established by visible cues alone.2006-05-22May 22 20062006-05-22A photograph of an orange-robed figure seated on an orange-draped throne, eyes closed, one hand resting on the chest and the other on the armrest. A man in white ritual clothes kneels beside the throne, reaching toward the robes. Behind them a framed portrait shows a smiling figure in orange with a white beaded necklace, and garlands of pink and yellow flowers hang from the frame. A white box fan and a small table with a gold-patterned cloth sit at left. The seated figure's long dark hair, orange robes and rudraksha-free neck do not clearly establish identity, so the appearance is uncertain.2010-02-08Indoor satsang setting with a seated elder in saffron robe and white shawl, grey-white beard, holding two books, seated in a white-covered chair on a saffron-cushioned platform. A younger devotee with long dark hair, bare-chested in saffron cloth and a ceremonial orange necklace, bows with hands pressed together toward him. Two people seen from behind in orange, one wearing an orange cap embroidered with a circular emblem, sit on the floor. Microphones on stands, a blue backdrop, red-draped table and a white-clad figure at left. a person: the seated elder in saffron with a white shawl, a flowing white beard, a saffron chair and a devotee bowing to him.2006-05-22A photograph of a seated elderly man with a white beard, wearing orange robes and a matching orange hood, reclining in a cushioned chair with his hands folded in his lap. A young man with long dark curly hair and bare upper body, wrapped in orange cloth, leans forward at left beside a small wooden table draped in orange cloth holding a bowl, a pen and printed pamphlets. Another person with long dark hair in orange clothing kneels at the lower right in front of the chair. Behind them a standing man in white kurta and white dhoti is visible at right. Two microphones on stands, a blue backdrop, a framed poster of a seated deity with a halo on the wall, and a painted mountain-landscape picture at left complete the room.2006-05-22A photograph of a seated figure in an orange saffron robe with long dark hair, sitting in a chair and placing one hand on the forehead of a kneeling man in a white collared shirt. The red-painted wall and tiled floor suggest an indoor hall. A person in white is partly visible at the top left. The orange-robed figure has long swept-back hair and a shawl-style wrap, cues consistent with the page's a person label, so the appearance-based candidate is a person, giving a blessing to a devotee.2007-01-02August 17 20062006-08-17A photograph of an indoor ashram-style gathering with a seated figure in white trousers and an orange robe receiving attention. In the foreground, a long-haired person in an orange wrap bends over a small table draped in orange cloth, holding a brass bowl and handling items on the table. A man in a white kurta stands at left beside a wooden chair, and a person in an orange t-shirt stands at right. Behind them hang a blue backdrop, microphones, and a framed landscape photo of a river with an orange-robed figure beside it, decorated with marigold garlands.2006-05-22A photograph of an indoor ritual on a green floor covered with scattered petals. In the foreground, a long-haired person with bare shoulders, wearing an orange shawl and a white-and-orange garland of flowers, reaches up to touch the forehead of a young man in a white collared shirt and an orange shawl, who has a brown rudraksha mala around his neck and stands with his hands folded. Behind them, other people in white and orange sit on red cushions near a speaker, a tripod and cables, and a laptop. In the foreground a man with long dark hair kneels prostrate in a saffron-orange robe, his back bare, wearing a gold necklace. Facing him, an older bald man in a large orange-saffron shawl draped over his head and body kneels on a cushioned seat and places both hands on the prostrate man's back in blessing. Two standing men in white shirts and white trousers, one wearing a rosette ribbon, watch at the back left. A potted plant with pink flowers stands at the right. Two people are visible in the scene besides partial figures at the edge. The kneeling blessing figure has no clearly distinctive identifying cues beyond ordinary saffron robes, so identity is uncertain.2007-01-30A seated man with long dark hair and a bare chest, wrapped in an orange cloth, sits on a white cushioned throne with a red pillow and an ornate gold-carved wooden footstool. He holds a long wooden staff or rod that extends toward a kneeling devotee in white clothes with an orange shawl, whose long dark hair is visible from behind. Three other people in white and orange shawls sit or kneel nearby, one wearing a lanyard. A black-and-white portrait of a bearded figure hangs on a pale wall behind them, and a purple-blue curtain hangs at left. The setting appears to be an indoor hall with a stage-like platform, a bright light at right and a patterned carpet on the floor.2006-12-10
