A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne at the front of a hall, wearing an orange-saffron robe with long dark hair, with a silver bowl placed before the throne. In the foreground, several devotees in white clothes sit cross-legged on striped mats facing the throne, with banana-leaf plates of food and paper cups arranged in rows before them. To the left, two men in orange robes sit with palms joined in greeting, and a man in white dress stands at the far right beside steel cooking vessels. The scene suggests a communal meal gathering in a temple or ashram hall.2013-10-04December 18 20162016-12-18Devotees perform a padapuja-style ritual before an empty ornate golden throne draped with a red seat cushion and a garland of yellow marigolds and red-and-white flowers. Seated on the floor in white clothing, several women hold brass lamps with lit flames and offer lemons and fruit on silver trays near the throne. A large framed portrait of a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala, seated with one hand raised, rests on the throne seat. On the left, a shaved-headed devotee in white kneels with hands folded. Brass vessels and lamps stand in the background beside a red-and-white striped wall and a small side table decorated with flowers.2010-10-05September 07 20122012-09-07A large indoor hall with white draped walls and a golden canopy frame over a raised seat, hosting a ritual feast. A bearded man in orange robes sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne, with a tall golden-crowned figure beside him and a woman in white at the back. Long striped mats run across the floor, lined with banana-leaf plates of food, brass vessels and small oil lamps. Rows of people in orange and saffron clothing sit on both sides, and a small screen on the right shows a bearded figure in orange. Colourful umbrellas and brass lamps frame the scene, consistent with a maheshwara puja offering of food to sannyasis.2016-12-18December 18 20162016-12-18October 07 20102010-10-07October 26 20152015-10-26December 19 20122012-12-19April 23 20152015-04-23A photograph of a seated man on an ornate golden throne, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a red and white flower garland, gold necklace and gold bangles, with his bare feet resting on the throne's gold base. Before him on a gold tray are brass plates of offerings, flower petals, and small oil lamps. A kneeling man in white clothes with a red sash and rudraksha mala and a kneeling woman in orange sari with flowers in her hair attend the offering. Behind them, a shaven-headed attendant in orange and maroon robes with a rudraksha mala kneels. Two framed portraits hang on a dark wall: one of a smiling man in an orange turban, the other of a man in orange robes seated in meditation, with a wall air conditioner above. Brass bells and a hanging lamp are visible at upper right. The setting resembles a padapuja ritual. Swamiji appears as a probable candidate on the throne, identifiable by long hair, a gold necklace, saffron clothing and a garland.2013-07-19A photograph of a ceremonial scene in a decorated hall. A man seated on an ornate golden throne with a leopard-print cushion and a large backdrop of yellow flowers and gold-patterned panels wears a reddish-brown shawl, a pink and white flower garland, and a rudraksha-style mala; he is smiling and holding a small tray. Two men kneel before him: one in white dhoti with bare back and a white sacred thread, offering a tray of cloth and flowers, and another in a white dhoti and gold-trimmed shawl with a long braid, presenting the tray. Standing figures in white and gold dhotis, a woman in a purple skirt at left, and onlookers in colourful saris fill the background, with a golden lion-shaped armrest visible beside the throne.2016-12-19
