A photograph of a shrine arrangement inside a temple hall, showing deity murti rather than living people. Two bronze-coloured standing figures stand at the top: the left wears a red turban, layered silver-look necklaces and a dark garment, while the right wears a green and red skirt with a red bodice and bangles, and holds a shallow metal bowl. Seated in front is a deity murti with a red turban, a tilak-marked forehead, a gold pendant and a dark blue garment with silver ornaments. A white marble figure in orange robes with a red headband sits at the lower left, raising one hand. The whole group is draped in thick garlands of yellow, white, purple and maroon flowers. A brass oil lamp sits on a white cloth at the base, beside a striped white and maroon cloth.

Night photograph of an outdoor shrine framed by a gilded arch and garlands of yellow marigolds, white and purple flowers. Two dark stone deity murtis sit within: a seated figure in white dhoti with orange shawl and layered jewelled necklaces, and a consort in teal sari with gold ornaments. Below stands a white marble statue of a devotee with folded hands, garlanded. A dark plinth bears a black plaque with Tamil inscription and a striped cloth draped at the base; oil lamps glow at the sides. Statues only, no living people.

A photograph of a large black stone statue of a deity seated on a dark pedestal, shown with four arms holding a trident and other implements, wearing an orange turban with a gold crown, a jewelled necklace and a red-and-gold draped cloth. Beside the deity is a consort figure wearing a gold crown and layered jewellery with a gold-bordered sari. A garland of white, green, pink and red flowers hangs across the main figure. In front sits a smaller white statue of a seated saint in a blue robe and blue turban with a yellow bead mala, one hand raised in blessing. Gold ornate arch frames surround the statues, with green foliage behind. The base bears Tamil script reading ஸ்ரீநித்யானந்தேஸ்வரர் நித்யானந்தேஸ்வரி (Sri Nithyanandeswarar Nithyanandeswari). No physical people are visible.

A night photograph of a temple shrine with stone pillars and a flat ceiling. Two blue-grey deity murtis stand on a raised pedestal, decorated with green leaves, fresh flowers, red blossoms and a grass-like alankaram. The left figure holds a trident and a small hand drum, and the right figure wears a red and gold skirt with a tall crown. In front, a seated figure in white clothing with a saffron-striped shawl and a white floral garland sits before a gold-ornamented base, and brass oil lamps are lit on the ground. No people are standing in the scene apart from the seated priest-like figure, who may be a statue or a person; the seated figure is not identifiable as a specific person here.

A photograph of a shrine under a stone pavilion at night, decorated with multicoloured flower garlands. Two large deity murtis are seated together on a raised platform: the figure on the left wears a red head cloth, a crown and layered white and blue pearl necklaces, and the figure on the right wears a silver crown, green and pink garments and a flower garland. Between them sits a smaller figure with a saffron head covering draped in a garland, and a silver-framed small deity figure stands on a stand to the right. In front are brass oil lamps, a brass kalasha, a silver plate of white and pink flowers, a bell and a bowl of offerings. Maroon curtains hang behind the pavilion.

A photograph of a gilded arched shrine housing two large decorated deity murtis, with a figure holding a trident in a green garment and an orange-and-green-clad companion seated beside. Both wear layered beaded necklaces and orange-and-green dress, with a crown-like headdress on the left figure. Garlands of yellow and purple flowers drape the murtis, and a decorated kalasha or offering sits in front. Brass oil lamps stand on either side against red drapery, and a kumkum-marked bull-like form appears at the base.
