In the foreground, an elderly sannyasi with a long white beard, a forehead tilak, rudraksha mala and gold chain kneels in orange robes, his hands cupped and receiving offerings from a woman in a cream and gold sari seated at right. Beside him a man in saffron robes with a gold necklace stands, and a man in white ritual clothes with a rudraksha mala stands behind. Behind them, many devotees in white, orange and green saris and dhotis fill the hall, some seated on red benches, with a decorated deity murti visible in the background. Marigold petals lie on the floor.2009-01-01Indoor photo in a small room with pink walls and a framed deity picture at upper left. A seated elderly man with a long white beard wears an orange-saffron robe and a red headband, and sits on a cushioned seat. Standing devotees in white dhotis and shirts, one in a white turban, face him with hands folded. Several women in white saris with gold borders and rudraksha/gold-bead necklaces stand at right, and a woman bends forward offering something. On the floor in front are a plate of flower garlands, a brass vessel, and round sweets or offerings. Some attendees wear face masks. The bearded seated figure is described only by role as a seated elder; no identification is made from appearance.2022-05-30July 27 20092009-07-27Inside a temple hall, a man in saffron-orange robes with a gold ornate necklace and a red tilak sits cross-legged on a leopard-print mat, receiving a woven basket of offerings held by a woman in an orange and purple sari with gold border and gold bangles. A man with grey curly hair in a white kurta sits with his back to the camera in the foreground. Behind them are a red velvet cushion, white calla lilies and red flowers in a vase, and a red rope barrier with brass stanchions. The seated man in saffron has long swept-back hair? No, he is shaved-headed, so no probable identification is made; he is described as a priest in saffron robes performing an offering.2008-10-22KAILASA TORONTO, CANADA on 7/4/20222022-07-04 +1 copiesMarch 21 20222022-03-21May 30 20222022-05-30November 27 20142014-11-27
