He faces left with his hand extended. Beside him a man in white-and-gold ritual cloth has a red and white tilak on his forehead and holds a hand out. Other devotees stand behind with dark hair, red tilak marks and gold beaded necklaces. The Swamiji (probable) cues are the dreadlocks, flower crown, shawl and garland, placed as the central figure receiving honour during the temple visit. Pale yellow walls frame the outdoor setting.2018-05-08A photo of a night-time worship inside a dim, weathered stone shrine with peeling plaster walls. A long-haired man in a rust-red dhoti and shawl, with rudraksha malas around his neck and wrists and an upper-arm band, holds a brass plate with a lit oil lamp (aarti) toward a carved wooden doorway hung with white and red flower garlands. Beside him, a man in saffron-orange robes holds a plate of flowers, and a figure at the left edge holds a brass bell. A hanging oil lamp is visible above the doorway. The lamp-bearer's appearance matches the page's a person reference only partially; the cues are long hair and malas, but the face is uncertain, so he is described by role as the lamp-bearing priest.2018-03-01Outdoor photograph at a temple ghat beside a green water tank, with stone steps behind. In the foreground a bare-chested man in a white cloth with a black rudraksha mala and a long plaited hair points toward a red-painted shrine structure draped with red and orange marigold garlands and hanging bells. Beside him a man with long dark swept-back hair, rudraksha malas, a beard and a dark orange-brown robe holds a marigold garland and offers it at the shrine. A younger man in a maroon robe stands behind them, and a seated person in an orange shawl is at the right edge, facing the shrine. The scene suggests ritual worship at the shrine.2018-03-28Outdoor photo on a sandy beach of a seated ritual gathering. A bearded man with long swept-back dark hair, a red-orange robe, a multi-strand rudraksha mala and rudraksha bracelets sits centre-left, holding a metal tray of red and white flowers and picking up petals. Behind and beside him, several men sit on the sand: one wears a black turban and white-marked forehead with a long rudraksha mala, another is bare-chested with white body markings, and a clean-shaven man in a white dhoti and shawl on the right extends his hand toward the tray. Sacred ash lines mark several foreheads. The offering appears to be a puja on the sand.2018-04-28
