A photograph of a decorated deity murti seated on a golden throne in a temple setting. The murti wears a brown draped cloth, a large jeweled necklace with white and gold beadwork, and a white-and-gold crown with a red central jewel. It is adorned with a thick garland of red roses, green leaves, and a yellow marigold border. Golden carved lion or bird reliefs frame the throne, with an orange silk backdrop behind. In front stands a large golden plate of flowers. No physical people are visible, and the scene shows an offering of flowers and decoration at a shrine.2017-06-10December 05 20162016-12-05January 01 20192019-01-01November 29 20172017-11-29A gilded arched shrine frames a standing statue wearing a brown-red turban with a jewelled crown ornament, a brown-red cloth, a heavy jewelled chest ornament and pearl-and-gem waist chains, and a raised right hand in blessing. Garlands of yellow, red, white and purple flowers with green leaves drape the statue on both sides, and its feet rest on a brass base over a striped tiger-skin mat. Gold brocade covers the platform and red drapery backs the shrine. The statue is a depiction, not a person.2017-11-25 +1 copiesMarch 15 20202020-03-15 +2 copiesNovember 24 20172017-11-24Jun 09 2017June 08 20172017-06-08Close view of a decorated deity murti or ceremonial figure draped in a dark maroon cloth with a jewelled crown-like headdress and ornate gemstone necklaces.
