Two priests in orange-saffron dhotis and shawls stand at the sunken fire pit, one raising a lit oil lamp and the other holding a bell, with smoke rising from the fire. Behind them a large orange-red cloth-draped object rests on a flatbed trolley, and palms and red walls frame the courtyard. Brass vessels, a pot and leaf offerings sit on cloth at the pit's edge, and a red-draped table with a seated figure appears at the right.2014-07-13June 23 20132013-06-23September 24 20172017-09-24 +1 copiesA photograph of a homa fire ritual inside a hall with a tiled floor covered in woven mats. Around them, priests in dark red and orange dhotis wear rudraksha and gold-bead necklaces, and others wear white dhotis. Three monastics in saffron-orange robes are seated or kneeling: one at left with shaved head and bare shoulder, one in the centre with shaved head pouring from a bowl toward the fire, and one standing behind at right with long dark hair in orange clothing. Brass and silver kalashas with orange-tipped coconuts line a white-draped altar holding a deity murti. Stone steps, potted plants and dark-stone dvarapala-type figures frame the terracotta-walled hall. Brass pots and vessels sit on the stone platform beside the fire.2013-06-23A temple courtyard with a red and white painted wall and a corrugated roof. Behind the fire, a seated figure in red robes and a gold necklace sits on a red-cushioned seat before a golden shrine with deity murti and garlands. Three young men in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls stand nearby; the one on the right bends forward with hands raised in reverence, and another on the left stands with hands folded.
