Rows of men dressed mostly in white shirts and dhotis or trousers fill the frame, with a few in pale blue, pink and checked shirts. A man in a red cap sits near the centre, and a man in a white head wrap sits at left. A few women wear headscarves and a figure at right wears saffron-orange clothing. Some attendees lean forward, and a purple banner is visible at upper left. The crowd is large and dense, extending to the far background, so the count is in the hundreds.2010-01-24A dense crowd of men seated on plastic chairs at an outdoor discourse, most wearing white shirts and dhotis, with some in light blue shirts and one in saffron-orange cloth. A man in the foreground raises a finger, another wears a red-and-white checked cloth on his head, and an elderly man with white hair and a striped towel rests his hand on his chin. The audience fills the frame edge to edge, with a few faces partially visible at the bottom and sides.2010-12-29A large night crowd seated in rows at an outdoor event, filling the frame from edge to edge. Most men wear white shirts and mundus, and several wear white or grey head coverings. A few women in pale saris sit among them, and one man in the foreground wears a light orange shawl over his shoulders. Many faces are turned upward toward a stage out of view, with hands pressed together in namaskar by some. Bamboo poles and a blurred banner show at the top, and a small purple logo sits in the upper left corner. The scene suggests attentive listening to a speaker, though no one from the crowd can be singled out.2010-12-29A photograph of a large indoor hall filled with seated audience members at a mass convention, most in white shirts and dhotis or trousers, with some in checked shirts, blue shirts and a woman in a gold saree. Rows of blue plastic chairs fill the floor, and many people sit on the bare floor toward the front and along the aisles. Speakers stand on stands at the side and ceiling fans hang overhead. No a person candidate is visible in the frame.
