Street-level photograph of a small, weathered shrine building in a crowded Tamil Nadu town lane. A turquoise-and-white domed roof with a golden finial sits atop a low cream wall; the entrance is closed by teal folding grilles and iron bars. Dense overhead electrical wires and a street lamp cross the frame, and a taller multi-storey building with balconies rises behind. A teal board on the left carries a long column of Tamil script, and a blue sign above the entrance is printed in Tamil. No people are visible in the scene.2012-07-08A photograph of a small street-facing Hindu temple shrine with a teal-green folding metal gate and grille, the gate standing open. Tamil text is painted on the teal panels beside the doorway. Overhead tangled electrical wires, utility poles and a street lamp crowd the scene, and a stone step leads to the entrance.
