A seated figure with white sacred ash on the forehead, wearing a white flower garland, rudraksha malas and a gold necklace, sits on a red cushioned seat under the throne. Two attendants in saffron/orange robes stand before him: a long-haired figure in orange drapes on the left reaches toward him, and a shaved-headed attendant in orange on the right offers a silver tray of red and pink flowers. Behind them, an orange-clad figure with a red head covering stands near a second golden seat, and a white-clad priest stands at right. Behind the throne, a painted deity figure in orange and gold holds a trident-like staff and a drum-like object, with red garlands hanging. Gilded carved armrests and a gold-trimmed seat frame the composition.2012-04-27December 29 20132013-12-29A photograph of a crowded outdoor event where a bald, elderly man in a white kurta and white dhoti stands at centre, his hands clasped with a devotee. Around them, devotees in white shirts and orange shawls, including young men with orange scarves, and a woman in a green sari with a red bindi look on. A man in a white shirt with a dark rudraksha-style mala is at right. Books and small items sit on a table at lower right, and a red cloth backdrop hangs behind the crowd.2008-03-28Night outdoor photo of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban with gold trim, adorned with red-and-gold bangles and a gold ornament at the lap, smiling and extending a folded white paper toward an older man in a cream shirt who leans forward with hands held together. Beside him a shaven-headed man in a white dhoti with gold border and rudraksha mala gestures in attendance. Blurred devotees in white and checked shirts fill the background under a string of round lights.2011-11-10Indoor photo in a wood-panelled room with carved wooden screens and a patterned rug. A bearded elder seated at left, bare-chested and wearing a pink and gold wrap, extends his hand to receive papers from a standing man in an orange turban and orange robe with long dark hair and a gold necklace. Behind them, several men in orange and saffron robes and a man with white forehead marks stand watching, and a man in white with an orange shawl stands at right. The arrangement suggests a formal meeting or presentation of documents.2008-10-29A seated figure in an orange robe and red sleeveless undergarment sits on an ornate gold throne decorated with garlands of yellow, pink and white flowers, gesturing with raised hands while speaking to an elderly bearded man in a saffron-and-maroon robe with gold trim, who holds a small red object and a tray. A younger man in orange stands behind them, and a man in a pale yellow shirt and cream dhoti stands at left beside a woman in white with gold border. The backdrop shows a red-and-gold temple image. Several people are visible, the throne is central, and small offering items sit on a wooden table in front of the throne.2009-08-09April 22 20122012-04-22A photograph inside a temple hall with cream arched walls and a blue-framed deity shrine at upper right.
