He looks forward while a hand holds up a red staff or flag pole above him. Around him stand several men: at left a man in a red shirt with a gold-beaded necklace and red tilak, next to a man in an orange striped polo; at right a shaved-headed man in orange robes with layered gold chains, and behind them men in white shirts and a bald man wearing glasses. In the centre, a man with long dark hair and a red bindi on his forehead wears a saffron-orange shawl and a long black rudraksha mala, walking with eyes lowered. Around him, saffron-clad men wear gold ceremonial necklaces, one with a bearded face, others shaved-headed in white dhotis and orange-red wraps, with several older white-clad figures further back. The central man appears to be a person based on long swept hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha mala, as a leader within the procession.2011-05-24A procession of saffron-robed sannyasis walks along a street past a temple gopuram in the background. In the centre, an older bald man with a grey-bearded face wears an orange-red shawl, a rudraksha mala and a large ornate gold pendant, and is supported by an attendant. Beside him a man in an orange robe wears beaded necklaces and a gold pendant. A younger man on the right wears an orange-red cloth, a thick rudraksha mala and a gold pendant, with a red-and-white forehead mark and a headband of beads. Men in white dhotis and bare shoulders walk nearby and onlookers watch from the doorway of a building.
