Outdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. Five men walk along a stone path toward a black serpent statue with white spots and a red-orange mound of offerings in the foreground. Left to right: a bald man in orange robe, a man in white dhoti with a sacred thread and tripundra markings, a bald man in orange cloth, a man in white dhoti and shawl carrying an orange umbrella, and a long-haired man in orange robe with a rudraksha mala. On the right, a black deity statue seated on a pedestal wears orange cloth and a garland of marigolds and flowers. Nearby stands a dark statue. The scene suggests a temple devotional visit to a sacred tree shrine.

A photograph of an outdoor shrine beneath a large banyan tree with many aerial roots. In the foreground, a saffron-clad man in an orange robe and a white-clothed figure with a yellow shawl stand near a red-painted shrine with a black-and-white painted cobra sculpture. A saffron-robed man with a dark beard kneels at the shrine holding a lit oil lamp and a plate of red flowers. Behind them, a row of about ten people wearing orange, saffron, white and yellow garments stand with hands joined in prayer on a paved path beside a small pool. A black deity murti on the right is adorned with yellow and red flower garlands.

Outdoor ritual photograph beneath a large banyan tree with aerial roots. A man in a white dhoti and shawl raises one hand while holding a lit lamp near a black stone deity murti draped in orange cloth and garlanded with yellow and purple flowers. An orange-robed sadhu with long hair and a beard stands beside him holding a flame. Another orange-robed attendant holds a brass plate of petals. Around them, a crowd of men in white kurtas and yellow shawls stands with palms joined in prayer, while a woman in white and orange stands at the right. Bright orange-red painted base and a yellow flower offering on a brass tray in the foreground.

Outdoor ritual before a large banyan tree with aerial roots. A tall figure with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange saffron robe and stands near a golden deity murti draped in a garland of yellow, red and purple flowers. Two men in white dhotis with red-bordered cloth and bare chests stand in front, one holding a flower garland and one holding offerings; both wear gold necklaces. Several saffron-robed sannyasis, one holding a small wooden tray and one in white with a camera, stand nearby. Red-stained stone base with scattered yellow flowers and brass vessels in front of the murti. The swami with the swept-back hair has distinctive long hair and saffron clothing; the identity is uncertain from appearance alone.

A man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a long garland stands with hands folded in prayer before a large dark stone deity murti draped in orange, purple and yellow-green flower garlands. Beside him a young attendant in orange holds a lit oil lamp, and two more orange-robed men stand to the left, one holding a trident-topped staff. Offerings on plates, a kalasha and flowers rest on a white platform and a woven mat in front of the murti, consistent with puja. Hindu ritual setting.

Outdoor photo at an ashram grounds beneath a large banyan tree whose trunk and aerial roots are draped with yellow and pink flower garlands. A standing man with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange robe and holds his hands together in prayer before a shrine. Beside him, a figure in white clothing stands near a swing frame, and on the right a person in an orange garment and white dhoti holds a tall golden staff. The shrine displays a red and gold deity murti decorated with garlands and flowers, set in an ornate arched frame. A video camera operator is visible at the lower left edge, and the ground around a reflective dark floor panel is scattered with flower petals.
