Indoor photograph of a devotional gathering in a small white-walled room. In the foreground, a woman with long dark hair wears an orange sari and holds a silver tray of flower petals, offering them to children. Several uniformed schoolchildren in grey pinafores with white shirts and ID badges stand close, some with hands together. Behind them, women in blue and purple saris, one in a white sari with a pink-and-green border, and an older man in white clothes with glasses watch and hold a phone or small object. A garlanded framed picture hangs on a side wall, and a white framed window with a small shrine picture is visible above.2009-01-21January 21 20092009-01-21January 21 20092009-01-21Indoor photograph in a school corridor where a crowd surrounds a monk in saffron-orange robes with long, swept-back hair who is leaning forward toward a group of uniformed schoolchildren. A woman in white beside him holds a long braid, and another monk in orange stands near. An older man in white shirt and trousers holds a pink flower garland and a small object, while women in blue and orange saris and many children in white shirts and light blue pinafores crowd around. Wall charts behind show national symbols and Indian festivals, and a 'Welcome' decoration hangs on the right. The monk in saffron has distinctive long hair and orange robes, but his identity is not established from appearance, so the figure is described by role only.2009-01-21A group photograph in a plainly furnished room with pink walls and a green-framed window. A central figure in a saffron-orange robe with a long white and red flower garland sits on a white cloth-covered seat, raising one hand in greeting. Around this figure are roughly a dozen people: a man in a checked shirt kneels beside a baby held in his arms, a woman in a blue and yellow sari stands on the left, an elderly woman in a white sari stands behind the seated figure, and women in white and maroon saris kneel in front. A man in a white shirt stands at the far right beside a woman in an orange striped sari. A saffron-clad person is partly visible at the far left edge. The figure's gender and identity cannot be determined from appearance here, so no identification is made.2010-02-17A seated audience in a bright hall. In the foreground an older man with grey hair and wire-rimmed glasses wears a white shirt and white trousers, with a rudraksha-style beaded mala around his neck. Beside him a young girl in a white top and blue skirt has a long braid, and another girl in a grey-blue outfit holds a green packet. Several women in saris and salwar kameez sit behind them, and more people stand near the back wall and doorway. Tall white pillars and windows frame the room.Indoor photo of an ashram gathering at night.
