Several large umbrellas with colourful striped and embroidered canopies and fringed borders are carried on tall poles, and orange saffron flags are held aloft among them. Many men and women in white kurtas, dhotis and saris walk in rows, several wearing garlands with red and white beads and a few with orange sashes. A red carpet runs along the right edge beside the walkway, and a white and red decorated tent stands in the background under hazy sky.2005-01-01January 02 20092009-01-02December 05 20112011-12-05December 05 20112011-12-05Night procession on a dirt road. In the distance a decorated chariot or ratha with orange and red ornamentation moves ahead, with colourful canopy umbrellas on poles, one with a fringed red and gold banner, and a figure in orange robes near the front. Blue and white banners and a large vertical pole are visible on the right. A small structure stands at the left edge. Cannot determine whether any person is a person from appearance, so no candidate is named.2010-02-12A night procession moves along a dirt road past a red-brick wall, with a lit ratha or palanquin carrying a deity murti decorated with garlands in the background. Beside him walks a man in an orange robe with a bare head and a tall orange shawl-like wrap, while devotees in white dhotis and saris, some with rudraksha malas, follow closely. Orange flags on poles line the route. A bare-chested devotee with a white dhoti is at right. Dozens of people fill the frame.2011-12-05December 27 20082008-12-27January 02 20092009-01-02Outdoor evening procession on a dirt road lined with palm trees.
