A photograph of a screen showing a satsang-style gathering in a bright white hall with a red-draped table. On the table are a plate of oranges, a potted flower plant, a small brass lamp and a dish. A woman in a white sari with a green border and a red shawl stands at left holding a small object. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers stands center, with a group of about ten people behind him in casual clothes, some wearing red shawls. A woman in a white top sits in the front row, and a woman in an orange-and-brown sari sits at right beside a red curtain. In the bottom right corner, an inset video shows a seated figure in a red headdress before a red-and-white backdrop.

A seated audience at an indoor satsang hall with red curtains and red-cushioned chairs. In the left foreground a man in white with a marigold garland sits wearing headphones. Beside him a bald young man in a white dhoti with a gold border speaks into a handheld microphone. Next to them a woman in an orange sari sits attentively. On the right, a man in a blue shirt and white dhoti and a man in an orange shirt wear headphones, and a woman in a white sari with an orange border sits further right. Blurred audience members in the foreground, several wearing lanyards, face the front.

A photograph of a ritual session in a hall. In the centre, a figure in saffron/orange robes with a saffron head cloth and a beaded necklace stands at a microphone, speaking. In front of him, another person in orange robes kneels on a mat before brass vessels, a silver lamp stand and a tray of fruit, while a standing attendant nearby holds a microphone. To the left, a line of about a dozen devotees stands with hands folded, many in white and cream clothes with yellow and orange garlands, and a woman in a yellow salwar kameez. Behind them are a white projection screen, a rug-covered white sofa and a vase of flowers on the right. A large orange-and-white woven banner hangs on the back wall.

A seated assembly of orange-robed sannyasis and devotees at a long table draped in red, with water bottles and papers in front of them, in a bright hall with pink walls and a projection screen above. Several bearded elder sadhus in saffron and orange robes sit with hands joined in namaste, while a man in white with a long dark ponytail stands near the centre. A younger man in white wears a yellow shawl, and others in the back row wear white, yellow and orange with headphones on. Orange and white banners hang from the ceiling. No individual can be identified as a person from appearance; the presiding figure is not clearly distinguishable.

Photograph inside a red and gold ceremonial room at an ashram event. A figure seated at left wears an orange-red turban, a white flower garland and an orange-gold shawl, and is seated on a low cushioned seat with a hand extended over a tray. A shaved-headed man in orange robes with a yellow-marked forehead and rudraksha-style beads stands at left holding a long gold-tipped staff. A line of devotees, several women in saris and salwar kameez, stands behind a gold pillar with a brass oil lamp. A man in a blue shirt holds two red apples while a woman in a white sari and red-bordered shawl gestures toward him. Gold-leaf hangings decorate the walls and a small monitor shows video at lower right.

Indoor puja scene in a hall with fluorescent-style lighting and a red curtain. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers bends forward to place an orange on an offering tray. A woman in a red garland and dark attire holds an orange out toward him, with white vibhuti marks on her forehead. The tray holds oranges, bananas, red kumkum-coloured items and a cloth, set among potted plants and coconuts. Behind them, several men in white shirts and ochre-saffron shawls stand watching, and a cameraman operates a video camera on a tripod. A standing fan and an air conditioner are visible on the right wall.

A photograph of a large display screen showing a live satsang feed in a temple-like hall. Three people stand in the foreground: a woman on the left in a pale yellow shawl with a red floral garland, a man in the centre in white kurta and white trousers with a red garland, holding a mobile phone to his ear, and a man on the right in a white long kurta with a phone to his ear. Behind them, seated devotees sit on cushions and mats, and colourful floral decorations and a shrine with deity murtis stand in the background. A small table in front holds pink flowers and a banner reading Seattle Chidambaram.

A photograph of an indoor hall with red carpet and pink walls where people perform a ritual honouring a seated figure. A woman in a red-orange sari with a garland stands at left holding a fruit plate, while a man in a white dhoti bends forward to touch the feet of a seated person draped in white cloth on a white-covered seat. Other men in white dhotis, a woman in a green sari, and a man in a checked shirt stand nearby. A cameraman films. Fruit plates, flowers and a vase sit on the floor, and rows of seated devotees in white clothes fill the right side under hanging black and red decorative banners.
