At the far end stands a shrine with a deity murti under a small canopy, flanked by red curtains. A crowd of devotees in white dhotis and kurtas, saris and saffron-and-maroon garments moves through the hall, some with hands folded in namaskar. In the foreground a man in a white kurta and dhoti walks barefoot, while a man in a maroon and gold-bordered dhoti with a rudraksha mala and a man in a khaki uniform stand near the centre. Green and yellow mats cover parts of the floor.2014-06-30March 30 20162016-03-30A group of devotees stands in a hall with white ceiling fans and a tiled floor during a ritual gathering. A small brass vessel and offering tray sit on the orange mat at left, and an orange cloth lies on the floor at centre right.2010-10-12A photograph inside a bright hall with a white tiled floor, red-tinted ceiling lights and wooden screens behind a central golden throne. A seated figure in red and gold garments sits on the throne, with a red cloth and a small offering on the floor before it. Lines of people stand on both sides facing inward: on the left men in white dhotis with gold borders and orange shawls, one with a long plaited braid; on the right women and girls in orange and saffron saris and white attire, some with hands pressed together. A child in yellow stands near the centre aisle. A pedestal fan and a floor lamp stand at the edges. The scene suggests a devotional gathering in progress.2016-03-30March 30 20162016-03-30Photograph of a large white-canopied hall with a red curtain and tiled floor, where devotees in white dhotis and shawls line both sides of a central aisle.
