On the right, a black stone Shiva-linga style deity murti is garlanded with yellow and orange marigold garlands and has an orange cloth draped over its top; a small white seated figure sits in front, with brass oil lamps and offerings. A bald man in orange robes with white forehead marks stands at left, hands folded. Two people in orange robes, one with long hair, stand in the middle, one holding a small tray. Several men in white dhotis and shirts stand with hands folded in the background among trees and a dirt ground with kolam designs. Scene suggests puja or darshan; several people are visible.2010-01-08October 24 20102010-10-24Outdoor photo on a dusty dirt ground with trees and a bush behind a wire fence. A central figure in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala beads and bangles, walks barefoot and looks ahead; the appearance cues are distinctive, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) figure in procession. Beside him a man in a white dhoti holds a tray of yellow flowers, and a woman in a blue sari carries a bag. Other devotees in white dhotis, shirts and a red-shirted boy stand around with hands folded, and a stone-coloured jacketed man stands at left. Several people are visible, roughly a dozen.2011-12-09Outdoor temple scene under tall shady trees. A seated black deity murti is draped with marigold garlands in red, yellow and purple, set in a white arched shrine frame above a mound of red kumkum. In the foreground a long-haired man in white dhoti and shawl stands with palms pressed together in prayer, a wrapped sacred thread and a beaded mala at his neck. Beside him a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala holds a golden tray with offerings. Behind them, people in white and orange stand in devotion, and a woman in a yellow shawl folds her hands on the right. A small figure in white stands in the background near the shrine. Dhoti-clad worshippers form a puja gathering.2010-12-21December 31 20092009-12-31Outdoor photo at a temple-style compound with palm trees and orange-roofed buildings. In the centre, a man with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron shawl and a dark rudraksha mala, standing with hands folded near his waist. Behind him, a man with a shaved head and white horizontal tilak marks, wearing white dhoti and a white shawl with a red border, walks beside him. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts stand or walk in the background, some with hands joined. An orange canopy hangs at the left edge and a black speaker sits at right. Swamiji (probable): the centre man shows long hair, saffron shawl and rudraksha mala; appearance-based label only.2010-09-12May 05 20152015-05-05
