Several large embroidered umbrella-style ensigns with red, yellow and blue floral panels and a dove-like emblem are held aloft on poles. Many devotees wear white ritual clothing and white shawls, some with saffron scarves, raising hands in devotion. A uniformed police officer stands at left beside a yellow signboard. A dense outdoor procession moves down a dusty street lined with a large crowd of devotees, many in white clothes and some in saffron or orange shawls. Above the crowd, a decorated ratha or palanquin with a white canopy and colourful umbrellas is carried through the street, and yellow streamers and festive decorations hang across the road. Shopfronts and older multistorey buildings frame the scene. Several figures in orange-saffron garments walk near the front, but no individual can be confidently identified from appearance. Many people fill the frame, with more visible in the background, so the count is well above one hundred.

A dense outdoor street procession crowds a town road under a clear sky. Hundreds of people in white ritual clothes, many men in white shirts and dhotis and women in white saris or dark shawls, press forward behind a decorated ratha-style cart topped with multicoloured umbrellas and a white canopy. Garlands and yellow bunting strung across the road frame the scene. Behind the crowd, a yellow banner and shopfronts line the street. Within the crowd no figure can be confidently identified as a person from appearance, so the sightline is limited to roles as devotees and procession participants.

Multiple decorated chariots or palanquins with colourful umbrella-like canopies and draped fabric move down the road, pulled and accompanied by a large crowd. Men in white dhotis and shirts and some in saffron cloth walk near the carts, while women in colourful saris and onlookers line the street, with yellow pennant bunting strung across the lane. Two-storey whitewashed buildings with ornate deity figures on balconies frame the scene, with palm trees and tiled roofs beyond. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so no identity is asserted.
