March 12 20082008-03-12A photograph inside a plain white-walled room with a corrugated metal roof and a tiled floor, apparently a kitchen or service room with steel pots and a gas burner on a side table. A smiling man with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange sannyasi-style cloth draped over a sleeveless saffron garment and a long garland of white, yellow and purple flowers with orange accents, with a red bindi on his forehead. Beside him a woman in a cream sari with a purple border and a yellow shawl, with a rudraksha-style mala, smiles toward him. In the background a man in white dhoti stands with hands joined in greeting, and another man in white stands near a stove. Framed pictures and a small brass lamp sit on a wall shelf at left, and a small framed picture hangs on the back wall. Swamiji (probable) is described by his saffron clothing, long hair and flower garland as a central figure greeted at the ashram kitchen.2010-02-15A photograph inside a bare, newly finished room with white walls and tiled floor. A central figure in an orange saffron robe with a white jasmine garland and a long rudraksha mala walks forward smiling, with a red tilak on the forehead and long dark hair swept back. Around them, several men in white dhoti and shirt stand with hands folded in anjali, and a woman in a cream sari carries flowers and a plate. On the right, a white-clad elderly man stands beside a white-draped table holding a brass lamp, a bell, a plate and a flame. Marigold and rose garlands hang along the doorway and the window. A kalasha-style offering and a lit oil lamp sit on the table. Swamiji (probable) appears as the orange-robed central figure with long swept-back hair, garland and rudraksha mala, consistent with a visiting dignitary being welcomed at an office opening.2010-02-16January 18 20102010-01-18 +1 copiesJanuary 10 20092009-01-10A photograph taken indoors in a home with pink walls and a framed picture above a doorway. Behind him a second man in an orange robe carries a gold trident-shaped staff wrapped in pink cloth. At left, a man in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala and pendant stands smiling. Other people are visible in the doorway behind them.2010-01-09March 12 20082008-03-12August 11 20092009-08-11January 21 20102010-01-21A photograph of a man in a saffron-orange robe with long swept-back dark hair and a red bindi, wearing a long white and red flower garland, smiling and walking through an interior doorway. He is smiling and walking forward in a white-walled hallway with a tiled floor. Behind him, a woman in a white sari with a red border and a red blouse, along with other people in orange and white clothing, follow through a doorway decorated with a yellow and orange flower garland and hanging ornaments.
