October 12 20072007-10-12October 13 20072007-10-13Photo of a large indoor hall with a corrugated metal roof and steel trusses, where a seated congregation sits on mats and rugs in rows. Many participants wear white clothing, and several young people in white and red sit at the front near brass oil lamps, bells and small silver-coloured vessels arranged on the floor. A few women wear orange, red and blue saris. Hanging decorative banners with geometric patterns and bird motifs line the walls. A white plastic chair stands at the left edge beside a small wooden stool. The scene suggests a puja or satsang gathering, with an oil lamp lit before the group. No individual can be identified from appearance, and no candidate for a person is clearly visible.2007-10-15A seated group of young boys and men in white ritual clothes sit in rows on striped mats inside a corrugated-roof hall at an ashram. Many wear white kurta-style garments and some wear saffron or orange robes. In the left foreground, boys sit behind brass bells, bowls and pooja vessels. A green-draped altar holds a deity murti decorated with flower garlands and a framed portrait of a person in orange robes, with a plant beside it. Hanging saffron and patterned fabric banners with dove motifs decorate the ceiling. A figure in orange robes sits at the far right edge near the front. A printed caption on the altar reads 'Amarananda Maha Sankalpam'.2007-10-14August 12 20072007-08-12August 12 20072007-08-12A photograph of a seated devotional gathering in a long, plain hall with a corrugated metal roof and cream walls. Rows of people sit on mats and cloth-covered floor seats, many in white ritual clothing, while others wear red, orange and yellow saris and salwar outfits; a young man in front wears white with a red-bordered shawl and glasses and sits with hands in prayer pose. Hanging from the ceiling are tall striped cloth banners in red, yellow and blue with floral motifs, and small paper or wooden deer and bird decorations. A brass oil lamp stands at left beside a low table with a silver tray and flowers, and an open doorway at the back shows more people moving inside.2007-10-13October 17 20072007-10-17January 03 20082008-01-03August 12 20072007-08-12A photograph inside a large hall with corrugated metal roof and yellow steel trusses, showing a crowd of thirty to fifty children and young people seated cross-legged on purple mats in rows. Most wear white or pastel clothing, with some in pink, green, orange and checked skirts. Their hands are pressed together in prayer. On the right, two adults in white robes stand near a ceremonial fire with flames rising, beside brass vessels and lamps on the floor. Wall lattice windows and a brown door are visible behind.2006-05-01December 31 20102010-12-31
