A photograph of a seated figure in orange-saffron robes and a matching orange turban, wearing a long rudraksha mala, performing a ritual on a dirt ground under trees. Brass puja vessels, a bell, a kalasha-style vessel, a tray of fruit, flowers and a brass lamp sit on a white cloth before him. Around him, several men in white dhotis and white shirts stand with hands folded in reverence, one holding a notebook, and one man in a striped shirt and grey trousers stands at the right. The scene reads as an outdoor puja with offerings.Outdoor photo beneath a massive banyan tree with dense aerial roots. In the foreground a standing man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban holds a brass bell in his right hand, with a rudraksha mala around his neck and white markings on his bare upper arm, smiling. Beside him a seated bearded man in white kurta sits behind a small wooden lectern. A woman in a cream sari stands with hands folded in namaste. Behind them, a saffron-draped seat is garlanded with pink and white flowers and green foliage, with a brass pot and a brass kalasha-like vessel at the lower left and marigolds and pink petals on the ground. Several onlookers in white and dark clothing stand or sit in the background, and a saffron flag hangs on a bamboo pole. Red-brown rocks frame the bottom edge.2004 - sacred collections uncategorised2004 - First Sannyas Deeksha At AdiKailaasaJuly 07 20092009-07-07July 07 20092009-07-07A homa fire burns inside a square pit of yellow bricks in a plain hall with white walls. A seated figure in orange robes and an orange turban, with long hair and a rudraksha mala, sits on a black-and-white painted platform and offers something from a small dish. Brass pots and a brass kalasha sit nearby with yellow and pink flower petals scattered on the ground. Seated devotees in green, white and orange saris and dhotis face the platform. Standing men in white shirts and a bearded man in white watch from behind, one holding a camera, and a garlanded deity or shrine with pink and red flowers is at the right edge. The setting suggests a pooja or homa in progress.2003 - Sacred collection UncategorizedMarch 22 20082008-03-22March 22 20082008-03-22
