OCtober 6, 7, 8 2004 - 3 Mass Living Enlightenment Initiation conventions at Kancheepuram

A photograph of an outdoor gathering under a corrugated metal roof with a yellow-orange fringed valance. In the centre, a smiling man with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron turban and orange robe, a rudraksha mala at the neck, and a large white and red jasmine-and-rose garland. He stands with palms pressed together in greeting. To his left, an older man in white shirt and white dhoti, with glasses, smiles and bows toward him. To the right, a bearded man in an orange robe stands with hands clasped, and several men in white shirts and dhotis, some wearing rosette badges, stand behind. a person appearance match is claimed by the page but the face is not used for identification; the saffron turban, long hair, mala and garland are the visible cues.

A photograph taken indoors at a mass convention hall. A seated figure in an orange-saffron robe with gold border and an orange turban, with long dark hair and rudraksha beads, sits on a white-covered throne and presses palms together. Below, a row of devotees in white shirts and trousers kneel and bow with folded hands before the platform, which is covered with striped red and green cloth and a few flower petals and green leaves near the feet. A standing attendant in a white robe stands behind the throne. A tabletop fan, speakers and seated onlookers in the background complete the scene. A photograph of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban, with a red and gold shawl, wearing a white and red flower garland and rudraksha mala, hands folded in greeting. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti bends forward with folded hands before the seated figure. Behind them a standing man in white holds a cream-coloured shawl, and a man stands at the back left with his hand raised. The seat is draped in white cloth with red cushions, flanked by orange and yellow flower arrangements and green palm fronds on a blue carpet, with a backdrop showing a large face portrait. Petals lie on the floor in front. The seated figure has distinctive saffron robes, rudraksha mala and turban cues, consistent with the page's identification of Swamiji as present, so this is an appearance-based probable identification.

A photograph of a stage event with three seated men. In the centre, a man in an orange turban and orange robe with a long black rudraksha mala sits with palms pressed together in namaste before a microphone stand, eyes closed. Long hair falls past his shoulders and a yellow name badge hangs on his robe. To his left, a bespectacled man in a white shirt and white dhoti holds a small yellow booklet bearing a picture of a saffron-turbaned figure. To his right, a man in a white shirt and khaki trousers sits with hands clasped. A third person in orange clothing stands at the upper right edge. Behind them is a large backdrop of rocky terrain in red and orange tones, with silver chairs in a row.

A seated figure in an orange turban and orange-and-gold saffron robe smiles broadly, wearing a long white and pink flower garland with green leaves and a gold pendant necklace. Their hands rest together in the lap holding an orange object. Around them, men in white dhotis and shirts sit on a green mat, some with white and red sandal or vibhuti marks on their foreheads. A man in white at right holds flower petals in cupped hands, while others hold pink petals. Pillars and a bright floor line the background.

A photograph of two seated men on a stage at a public talk. On the right, a smiling man sits in an orange upholstered armchair wearing an orange turban with a red bindi, an orange robe and a long rudraksha mala, hands clasped at his chest. Beside him on the left, an older man with grey hair and glasses wears a white shirt and white trousers and sits with his hands folded and eyes lowered. Behind them, saffron-robed and bald-headed attendants sit on the stage, and a pale backdrop fills the background.
