August 26 20172017-08-26A courtyard satsang with a seated speaker on a raised wooden platform at upper right, wearing a saffron-orange robe and speaking into a microphone. Below, a large group of devotees sits on colourful striped mats, mostly in white ritual clothes with yellow-bordered dhotis and saris, many with palms pressed together in namaskar and clapping. A golden canopied palanquin-style shrine stands at center with a small golden deity murti inside. A brass bowl of flower petals sits on the mat at right, and bronze deity statues flank the platform. Red walls and hanging brass lamps frame the scene. The speaker is not visibly identifiable from appearance, so no identity is assigned here.2016-01-01September 11 20152015-09-11 +1 copiesAugust 21 20162016-08-21A large satsang hall under a red-draped tent with hanging colourful tassel decorations. A man in a saffron-orange robe with an orange turban sits on a white and red throne, speaking into a microphone while a large audience of many people, mostly seated, faces him. Behind him a deity murti with a crown and trident-style staves stands on a raised red dais, with a large screen and golden decorations at the sides. Foreground devotees include a bare-chested man in white dhoti seen from behind and women in orange, yellow and pink saris. Cameras on tripods and speakers frame the scene. The man on the throne appears to be the speaker, though his identity is uncertain from this view.2016-12-17A photograph of a large seated congregation inside a temple hall decorated with golden shrine structures, golden bull and deity figures, and colourful tassel garlands hung across the top. Dozens of men sit cross-legged on the floor, most dressed in white kurtas and dhotis, some in red, orange and pink shirts, with white and sandalwood forehead markings. Several wear rudraksha malas and lanyard badges. Behind them, more people stand near an arched doorway opening to daylight. The scene conveys a formal inaugural darshan gathering of delegates.2018-12-20Photograph of a large seated assembly on a glossy white marble floor inside a temple hall, shot from behind the crowd. In the foreground a man with bare upper body wears a white dhoti with yellow borders and sits cross-legged beside an orange cushion and a red cloth bag. Next to him a small child in a white dhoti with yellow border sits. Further back many men with bare shoulders sit in white dhotis, and women in white saris with yellow borders sit in rows; some wear orange or saffron garments. Yellow lines mark seating zones on the floor. In the background, an ornate golden shrine with deity murtis, a large screen showing a deity image, and a second screen above. Several people in orange robes stand at the rear. The scene suggests a group puja or satsang, with no a person visible in the frame.2017-07-27December 20 20182018-12-20 +1 copiesA covered hall with a corrugated metal roof, decorated with hanging green leaf strings and tall pillars wrapped in colourful patterned panels with bird motifs. Many devotees sit on woven mats on the floor, some in white clothes, others in blue, grey and white; a woman in a blue top sits near the metal railing. Toward the back, several monks in orange and saffron robes stand and walk through an archway, with a central figure in white. Brass and ornamental items, including an orange-draped deity murti, stand along the right edge. Crowd is sizeable and seated.2009-06-01December 17 20172017-12-17 +1 copiesFebruary 26 20132013-02-26 +1 copiesA large congregation of devotees sits cross-legged on striped woven mats inside a hall, most wearing white clothes with red-orange shawls draped over them. Several figures in saffron or orange robes sit among them near the front. On a raised stage at the back, ornate red and gold shrines and decorated altar arches frame deity murti and ritual objects. Kalasha-style pots, garlands and flower decorations surround the stage, and a small golden shrine stands at the right side near the wall, with more bright decorations and banners above. A row of ceremonial pots and an altar display sit at the right edge. The scene resembles a satsang or discourse with a seated assembly facing the stage.2015-09-17
