A decorated deity murti of a goddess is the main subject, seated on a red and gold throne against an ornate gold-embossed backdrop with a red cloth panel. The figure wears a gold crown with a sunburst halo, a layered silver and red-stone necklace, and a brown-red garment. White jasmine garlands and red roses drape the figure and the two decorated kalasha pots at its sides, which are dressed with green leaves, yellow flowers and orange-red silk. A small carved figure of a bearded sage with a topknot sits at lower right.
