July 16 20102010-07-16An outdoor open-air pavilion with a corrugated roof and tall palm trees behind it. A large group of people sit cross-legged on the floor in rows, most dressed in white clothing, with some in orange or saffron attire, facing toward the front of the hall. A red and white structure, possibly a ritual or stage platform, stands at the right edge. A white van and a parked vehicle are visible on the road behind the pavilion, with additional people standing near the entrance. The scene appears to be a seated satsang or discourse gathering.2010-09-01May 22 20122012-05-22August 27 20102010-08-27A long line of people in white dhotis and white shirts stands in single file along a dirt road beside a tall orange brick wall, with green shrubbery and palm and tall trees behind. Some are holding hands with one another, and a few wear shirts in pale and yellow tones. A small child in a light outfit stands near the front of the group. The scene suggests an ashram procession or queue on a dusty path.2010-09-11 +1 copiesNovember 28 20102010-11-28September 03 20102010-09-03 +1 copiesJuly 14 20102010-07-14 +1 copiesDecember 07 20072007-12-07August 26 20072007-08-26 +1 copiesOutdoor photograph of a ceremonial scene beneath a large spreading banyan tree on a sandy ground. A figure in white ritual clothing stands near a raised white pedestal or dais, with a tall palm tree and a red-and-white painted structure nearby. Several devotees are scattered across the open ground, some seated on mats or standing in small groups, among low vegetation and a few people in light clothing. The setting suggests a darshan or padapuja gathering under the tree.2010-08-04A small collage of two photographs from a morning procession at an outdoor ashram setting. In the upper panel, people in white and saffron-clad participants walk along a paved path lined with greenery, with a saffron-robed figure at the front. The lower panel shows a seated gathering on grass in white clothing with a few saffron-clad people among them, under trees. The collage is a graphic with no physical people of its own; the visible people are those pictured in the two panels, several of them in white garments and some in saffron robes.2009-06-17
