A photograph taken at night of a seated figure in an orange saffron garment with bare shoulders and long dark swept-back hair, smiling as they hand or pour something from a small white cloth onto a silver tray. Beside them on a white draped table sit a steel cup and the tray. Behind the table, a golden staff or standard rises against a dark background and a pale concrete block wall. Several men in white shirts and dhotis sit on the ground in the foreground, bowing heads with their hands extended toward the tray, with one bald older man at right. The scene suggests a ritual offering or prasadam distribution.2007-02-16February 16 20072007-02-16February 16 20072007-02-16Night-time photo at an outdoor ritual. A man in an orange saffron shawl over a white dhoti, with a white forehead mark and long swept-back hair, stands at a white-draped table with a steel plate of white powder and a steel cup, sprinkling or offering the powder into the cupped hands of a young girl in a white outfit with a pink-bordered dupatta. Behind them stand a man in white clothes, a smiling older woman in a teal-green sari with glasses, and a man in white. Other onlookers in white are seen at the lower edge. A pale cinderblock wall forms the backdrop. The man in orange has distinctive long hair and saffron shawl cues, and his role is officiant, so the appearance-based candidate is Swamiji (probable), shown in person.2007-02-16February 16 20072007-02-16Night outdoor scene before a plain whitewashed concrete-block wall. Several people in white clothing stand in front of the platform, including a man with white hair, a woman in a pink top, and a girl in a yellow top in the foreground. A man in white on the right holds a small object. Strings of cloth and a plate of offerings sit on the platform edge.
