A photograph of a ritual at a temple-like tent setting. A seated man in a red-orange robe with a rudraksha mala sits on a red-cushioned silver throne before an ornate gold carved backdrop, gesturing with his hand. In front of him, a bare-chested priest wearing a magenta head wrap and white dhoti holds a ritual implement over a flaming fire pit. Other men in saffron and orange cloth and white dhotis stand nearby, one holding a long stick. Brass pots wrapped in bamboo weave and garlanded with yellow and white flowers and ribbons sit on the floor, with a brass vessel at the right. The scene suggests a homa or yagna with offerings.2018-01-06A ritual scene with a sacred fire burning at left, surrounded by several white woven pots decorated with yellow and red flowers, green leaves and lavender ribbons.
