Two large deity murti stand at the centre, one in an orange garment with a crown and ornate silver-gold armour, the other with a gold crown and jewelled ornaments, all framed by a gold-edged arch and thick garlands of yellow, orange, red and purple flowers. In front, a tall decorated kalasha or linga-like form is also garlanded. A priest in an orange-red dhoti and bare upper body stands on a white-draped step, reaching up with an offering while two other shaven-headed priests in red-brown robes assist from the left. A woman in an orange sari with a red-and-white cloth stands on the left side of the altar, touching the deity. A smaller gold-framed figure in a green niche stands to the right. A large deity murti is seated at the center, dressed in orange and pink cloth and heavily garlanded with multicolored flower chains of yellow, orange, white and purple. Gold-framed niches flank the shrine; a smaller standing figure on the right wears green drapery, a red-orange cloth and a garland. On the left, four priests in orange and saffron dhotis, one bare-chested with rudraksha-style beads, stand near a tray of offerings; one holds a plate. Yellow flower petals are scattered on the stone floor.2016-12-27December 27 20162016-12-27A photograph of a temple shrine interior at night. A figure in an orange-red garment stands at the back of an ornate golden structure, reaching toward an orange-clad seated deity murti adorned with a crown and fresh garlands of yellow, red and white flowers. Two bare-chested priests in red-orange dhotis stand at the left, one holding a pot. A smaller standing deity murti in a golden arch with a green backdrop, wearing a garland, is at the right. Marigold petals are scattered on the floor and a golden kalasha-like vessel stands near the shrine.2016-12-27March 22 20082008-03-22A temple shrine at night where a long-haired man in orange robes with white marks on his arms holds a lit oil lamp toward a deity murti of Shiva and Parvati, decorated with a gold arch and garlands of yellow, red and white flowers. Behind him a younger orange-robed attendant stands with palms pressed together, and a third orange-robed figure holds a lamp. In the lower right, a seated figure in brown robes and a mask sits beside a black stone shivalinga base and an orange-draped peetha. The scene reads as puja or aarti at the altar. The long-haired man is a possible a person, based only on appearance cues: long hair and orange clothing, with white arm markings; this is uncertain.2008-03-31March 31 20082008-03-31March 31 20082008-03-31A temple shrine lit by brass oil lamps where three figures in saffron and orange clothing perform worship before a deity murti.
