The man on the left, bare-headed with a tilak mark on his forehead, sits with hands resting and an orange shawl over his shoulders. The man in the centre wears a yellow turban and glasses, arms folded, in orange cloth. The man on the right has white hair and beard, hands clasped in his lap, wearing an orange shawl. A standing attendant in rust-coloured robes and a rudraksha mala stands behind them. A white flower garland lies on the orange seat between them, and a red carpet covers the floor.

Behind them are a purple-blue starry backdrop, a brass oil lamp with a bird-shaped top, a golden carved pillar and a potted green plant.

Two saffron-robed sannyasis sit side by side on an ornate red tufted sofa with gilded carved wooden arms and rhinestone buttons, in front of a deep maroon velvet drape. Both wear saffron-orange head coverings with a red tilak on the forehead. The man on the left, with a short grey beard and no glasses, sits with hands resting in his lap and gazes sideways. The man on the right wears rimless glasses, has a grey beard, and holds his hands clasped while looking toward his companion. A partially visible person in a blue checked shirt stands at the far left edge. Their saffron robes are draped over their shoulders. Nothing in the frame clearly establishes which of these men, if either, is the a person named in the page.
