Two large ceremonial umbrellas with red, yellow and green fringed canopies are held overhead. In the centre a man in orange robes and a gold ceremonial mace-like staff topped with a trident walks with hands folded, wearing a gold necklace. Beside him a man in orange with a long garland of white flowers and a rudraksha mala holds his hands in namaste, and a bearded man in orange with a rudraksha mala walks at left. Behind them more men in orange and a woman in a white sari with an orange shawl follow. At left a man in white dhoti with a yellow shawl holds an umbrella pole. Approximately eight people are visible.2008-12-26February 19 20152015-02-19A procession on a dirt road under open sky, with red and orange umbrellas and flags overhead. In the centre, a man with long dark hair, a red tilak on his forehead, a white and pink flower garland and a rudraksha-style gold-toned necklace walks in orange robes; a golden trident is carried beside him. Around him, men in orange robes and white dhotis carry golden staffs and a yellow-and-red parasol, and a man in orange at right holds a golden staff. Behind, many devotees in white garments follow.2008-12-28 +1 copiesOutdoor procession in bright daylight with a crowd of devotees in saffron and orange dhotis and white dhotis with gold borders. Ceremonial silver staffs with a trident and finials are raised above the heads of the marchers, and a white canopy with gold fringe is held overhead. At centre, a bearded man wearing a red-orange turban with gold ornament, a heavy gold garland, gold armlets and a saffron robe walks at the front of the group, looking ahead and smiling, with a rudraksha mala visible. Other devotees bare-chested with rudraksha malas and sacred threads surround him, and a red vehicle is parked behind the trees in the background. Identification of the central figure as Swamiji is probable from the turban, gold garland and saffron robe, and the page indicates a Avatar Day celebration.2016-12-23A procession of men in white dhotis and shawls with gold borders carries tall gold staffs and trident-topped poles under a large orange and gold umbrella decorated with floral motifs and a white bird emblem. Several men wear white vibhuti marks on their foreheads, rudraksha malas and gold necklaces; one man in front wears an orange shawl and a gold chain. Spectators stand along a covered walkway behind them under a corrugated roof with hanging lamps.2012-01-01
