A seated group of roughly two dozen people in white clothing sits on a patterned carpet in a hotel hall with gold-and-red chairs, all performing the same meditative gesture of covering their eyes with their palms. Many wear rudraksha malas and white lanyard badges; one man in the middle wears a light-yellow garment with a red shawl nearby. Red cloth is folded on the floor beside several participants. The scene suggests a guided meditation practice in a group session.2013-12-13Large group of devotees seated on a patterned carpet during a ritual, most dressed in white kurta-style clothing with red-and-black woven shawls. Several men in front have a sacred ash or kumkum mark on the forehead and touch their brows or foreheads with their fingers, while others behind also raise hands to the forehead. Some wear lanyards and name badges, and a woman in the middle wears a white top. Warm red stage lighting and a blurred background suggest a large hall during a meditative or puja-style gathering.2016-07-02December 13 20132013-12-13December 13 20132013-12-13A photograph of a large seated group of men in a hall with red floor mats, all wearing white or pale blindfolds over their eyes.
