Each tile is labelled with a city-name sign such as Los Angeles Aranakal, Malaysia Kalani, Seattle Chidambaram, Oklahoma Somnatham, Toronto Kalasam, Phoenix Kanchipuram, San Jose Madurai and Houston Kalahasti. Participants sit cross-legged on mats in white, saffron and orange clothing, some with hands in anjali mudra, while altars with deity murti, flower garlands, kalasha and oil lamps appear behind them. One tile shows a seated pair in front of a golden deity murti on a throne draped with garlands, and a small portrait is visible in the corner. The screen-displayed people are not counted as physical people in this scene.2012-10-23June 30 20122012-06-30 +1 copiesOctober 10 20122012-10-10A photograph of a large wall-mounted or monitor display showing a grid of video-call tiles from multiple centres. Many tiles show groups of people seated for a satsang or meditation, with devotees in saffron, white and pink clothing, shrines and deity murtis, oil lamps and small banners in the background. One tile in the lower right shows a man with orange robes, rudraksha malas and a bindi-like forehead mark seated before a red patterned backdrop; he appears to be a person, and the display is a screen, so this is a depiction. Banners on tiles read San Jose Madurai, Houston Kalama, Delhi Dwarka, Seattle Chamakam and Malaysia Pulai. Visible physical people in the room are few, and the tiles are screens, so people are counted as 0 in the physical scene.2012-09-22A large screen displays a video-conference grid of many live feeds from different centres, each labelled with a place name such as Toronto Kailasam, Seattle Chidambaram, Oklahoma Somnatham, San Jose Madurai, Sharjah, Ohio Prayag, Kuala Lumpur-Palani, Singapore Sivaganga and Los Angeles Ayuda Nagaram. Inside the panels, people sit on mats around decorated puja tables with offerings, flowers and oil lamps, some in saffron and red clothing, while others stand or sit in a satsang-style gathering. A small framed portrait on one panel shows a smiling saffron-robed figure, identified only by its caption.2013-05-03A photograph of a large monitor displaying a multi-panel collage of video stills from temple and ashram gatherings. Several panels show groups of people seated on floors and mats before decorated altars with deity murtis, garlands and flowers. A bottom-centre panel shows a bare-chested man with a white tilak, rudraksha-style garland and a red-patterned backdrop, and a right-hand panel shows a figure in saffron robes seated among offerings. Some panels carry printed city-name signs such as Seattle, Oklahoma Sonnetham and San Jose Madurai. The collage content is screen imagery, so no physical people are counted in the room beyond the handful of people in the scene behind the monitor.2012-09-26A photograph of a large monitor displaying a grid of video-conference tiles from multiple satsang centres.
