Beside her, a large deity murti in a magenta and teal silk skirt, with a crown, trident and garlands of white flowers, stands on a green-draped altar. Brass oil lamps, a golden kalasha-style bowl of offerings, orange and white flowers, bamboo leaves and a red-and-gold pot decorate the shrine. The setting appears to be a temple room with pink curtains.2022-02-12KAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 4/13/20222022-04-13KAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 6/26/20222022-06-26 +3 copiesA priest, bare-chested with white sacred markings on his arms and a rudraksha-style necklace, pours liquid from a brass vessel over a dark murti of Shiva seated on a green-draped platform. A red and gold turban crowns the figure, and garlands of orange and white flowers frame an ornate gilded arch behind. A brass offering plate with flowers sits in front. The figure appears to be a deity murti or decorated statue rather than a physical person, so no in-person candidate is present.2022-06-01 +1 copiesA woman in a cream sari with a rust-red blouse and red-patterned border sits cross-legged on the floor performing arati with a brass lamp before a seated deity murti. The murti wears a green silk cloth, layered silver ornaments and a crown, holds a trident, and is garlanded with orange and white flowers. Behind it stand gold-framed temple decorations, a tall brass lamp stand on the right, and a brass bowl with offerings on a leopard-print mat in the foreground.2022-05-14 +1 copiesA photograph of a decorated deity murti seated in a gilded arched shrine niche with a deep magenta backdrop and a garland-draped frame of white and orange flowers. The murti wears a pink and teal silk skirt with a gold zari border, a jewelled gold necklace and armlets, and a crown-like headdress. It holds a trident in one hand. In front stands a large brass bowl filled with lit oil lamps, and a smaller brass figure and green cloth lie at the lower left. The setting suggests a temple shrine arrangement with a puja display.2022-03-08
