In the foreground, a bald man in orange dhoti and orange shawl with rudraksha mala holds a silver trident-tipped staff and a silver parasol-like canopy with hanging ornaments is carried overhead. Women in deep red saris with gold borders walk in rows, several with white vibhuti or tilak marks on their foreheads and rudraksha malas; one older woman in front holds hands with a younger woman, and another carries a brass plate of flowers. Other people in orange robes carry gold and silver tridents and banners.
