A photograph of an outdoor satsang on a raised golden throne-like seat (peetha) draped with a large floral garland of red, pink and white flowers. A figure seated on the throne wears an orange-red shawl over a bare chest, a rudraksha mala and a garland, with long dark hair; the figure appears to be Swamiji (probable), seated as the teacher. In front, a devotee in a dark red top with hands in anjali mudra and a man in white kneels on the green mat near a brass plate of flowers and offerings placed before the throne. Other seated devotees in white, cream and saffron, including a woman in white with a long braid visible from behind, face the throne. A pale green and red carpet covers the platform, with bamboo fencing, orange cloth draped on poles and a speaker at the left edge under a tent.2012-07-03Outdoor ceremony under a canopy with a gilded throne at left. A bare-chested man with long dark hair, a rudraksha mala and a garland of marigolds sits on the throne, a striped tiger-print cloth draped over its back, and a saffron wrap over his lower body; the figure's appearance is consistent with the page's a person note, though the face is not used for identification. A man in white ritual dhoti and shawl with a shaved head stands nearby, and women in saffron, orange and cream saris sit on a green mat before a brass tray of flowers and offerings. A cameraman with a tripod-mounted camera films the scene in front of a crowd of men in white and grey and green trees.2012-07-03 +1 copiesOutdoor satsang on a golden throne-like dais decorated with floral garlands in red, white and green. A man with long swept-back dark hair and a red bindi sits on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-head arms, draped in orange saffron robes, a red and yellow marigold garland around his neck, and a dark rudraksha-style mala near his waist. Swamiji (probable) is the presiding teacher: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial garlands. Seated before him on the floor, a young woman in an orange sari presses her palms together in namaskar, another woman in a red sari and a woman in a green sari do the same, and a young woman in a white top watches. A foreground woman with blonde hair leans forward holding a plate of rice and flowers, possibly offering padapuja. A white tower cooler, a gold-and-red floral canopy and string lights frame the scene, with more people in the dark background.2012-07-03July 03 20122012-07-03July 03 20122012-07-03 +1 copiesJuly 03 20122012-07-03 +1 copiesA seated man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, his bare feet resting on a gold footstool, eyes closed in a calm expression.
