A crowded indoor room during a house visit in a South Indian setting. A bald, shaved-headed man in orange robes with a dark rudraksha mala and an orange shawl stands centre, reaching out to hold a woman's hand. Several saffron-clad sannyasis and devotees crowd around; a seated elderly woman in white holds a small child, and another woman in an orange sari holds an infant. A woman in red and brown clothing bends forward with hands extended, offering fruit. Garlands of red flowers and yellow corn hang at left and right, a white air cooler stands behind, and a photographer with a camera appears at top right.

A seated figure in a rust-red and gold-bordered dhoti with a bare upper body, wearing a rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold-toned necklace, holds a small object over a wooden tray of fruit and offerings while standing young attendants in orange cloth and rudraksha malas assist. Several women in white saris with marigold garlands and a little girl in a pink top gather close, some with hands folded, in a plain room with orange drapes and a framed picture on the wall. The seated figure's appearance is ambiguous and not enough to confirm an identity, so it is described by role only.

A photograph of a Kalpataru darshan event under a red tent. In the foreground, a figure in a saffron-orange turban and an orange-brown wrap, with long dreadlocked hair and a white and green flower garland, extends a hand to receive an offering from a kneeling man in a pink shirt who holds bananas. Behind them, devotees in orange and red saris and a man in an orange robe with a gold-coloured necklace stand close together. A young boy in red and a woman in a white outfit with a red shawl are nearby. A cameraman films at the upper left. The gold-coloured item at centre appears to be a ritual object. Several people in the crowd are visible.
