December 06 20112011-12-06A photograph of an outdoor temple-grounds ritual with a crowd of devotees standing behind a rope barrier. Two men in saffron-orange sannyasi robes stand in the foreground: the left one is bald and wears a saffron garment with rudraksha beads and an orange shoulder bag, while the right one has long swept-back dark hair, a saffron robe and a dark rudraksha mala. Beside them a woman in a white sari with a red shawl and a man in white shirt and dhoti stand with hands folded in prayer. Behind them a large crowd of devotees in white and pastel clothes stands with palms joined. A wooden platform on the right holds a brass tray of yellow flowers. The sannyasi on the right appears to be a person by appearance cues of long swept-back hair, saffron robe and rudraksha mala.2011-12-06December 29 20102010-12-29April 01 20082008-04-01December 25 20082008-12-25Outdoor ritual scene under large leafy trees at an ashram. A man in an orange robe and orange turban stands with palms pressed together, facing a shrine. Beside him a devotee in a maroon wrap and red-orange headwear, with a white flower garland, kneels with hands folded. Another man in an orange robe and a white-clad priest holding a tray stand nearby. A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti holds a plate with offerings. Brass pots, bowls and a kalasha sit on a white cloth near a dark rock structure. A man in white clothes photographs the scene at left. Devotees and a cluster of orange-clad people appear in the background.2007-12-30Outdoor photo on a dusty dirt ground with trees and a bush behind a wire fence. A central figure in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala beads and bangles, walks barefoot and looks ahead; the appearance cues are distinctive, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) figure in procession. Beside him a man in a white dhoti holds a tray of yellow flowers, and a woman in a blue sari carries a bag. Other devotees in white dhotis, shirts and a red-shirted boy stand around with hands folded, and a stone-coloured jacketed man stands at left. Several people are visible, roughly a dozen.2011-12-09Outdoor procession scene at a dry field during a ratha padayatra. A long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, flanked by saffron-clad sannyasis and a bare-chested elderly man in orange cloth with a bead mala and a white cloth tied to his torso. Men in white dhotis and shirts stand behind, and a man in a blue cap is in the lower left. Red and green fringed canopy poles and a gold-coloured carved wooden ratha element frame the scene. A cameraman with a video camera is at left. Several people are visible in the crowd.2009-01-21January 16 20162016-01-16Outdoor procession under a leafy tree canopy on a black mat walkway. A man in the centre wears an orange-red dhoti and shawl, a gold ornate necklace, a flower garland and rudraksha-style beads, with long dark hair swept back, and his palms are pressed together in greeting; he is a probable Swamiji by appearance cues. Around him, devotees in white dhotis with gold borders and orange-saffron robes carry trays of flowers and offerings, and one person photographs with a phone. A decorated palanquin or chariot with garlands and a purple canopy appears at the left. Roughly fifteen to twenty people are visible.2016-12-23June 05 20112011-06-05December 06 20112011-12-06
