Three children sit on a bare concrete floor in front of an orange-brown wall, shaping wet clay with their hands. A boy in a red t-shirt and navy trousers works on the left, a girl with two braids, a pink hair clip and an orange t-shirt with brown trousers sits centre, and a girl in a teal salwar with a gold-bordered sleeve and bangles works on the right. Small clay lumps and two forks and a spoon lie on the wet ground. A partly visible white-clad adult stands at the left edge.

A photograph of children and adults washing or scrubbing clay in a courtyard beside a red-framed window and orange-painted wall. A young girl in a pink-and-maroon striped top and a boy in a yellow shirt scrub clay between their hands. A woman in a white chikankari-embroidered dress and white shawl, with a red wristwatch and a rudraksha-style bead strand, stands at right. A boy in a red shirt bends over a galvanized metal bucket and water tap at lower left, and an adult in white trousers and white shirt bends at centre. Green leaves are visible at the bottom right.

Two young girls sit on a concrete floor painting with coloured powder in small white paper cups. The girl on the left wears an orange top, orange trousers and a long beaded mala necklace; the girl on the right, smiling, wears a dark plaid sleeveless dress and has blue and pink powder on her hands, feet and legs. Their hands are dusted in blue powder and blue and pink colour streaks cover the floor around them. Behind them, several seated people in orange and white clothing are partly visible against a red-orange wall.

A photograph taken indoors at night of a ritual scene. A woman in an orange sari kneels on a patterned red and white mat at the lower right, holding a small cup and a plate of offerings, with pink flowers and a brass tray in front of her. Three children stand with their hands pressed together in prayer or receiving a blessing: a girl in a red top and pink-striped skirt, a girl in a pink and cream dress with a pink shawl, and a boy in a cream shirt and trousers. Behind them are polished metal pots and a small altar with a green cloth. Printed text on the image reads the copyright line and archive credit. The setting suggests a puja or arati performed in a temple or home shrine.

Outdoor photo under a thatched palm-leaf roof at a rural camp with dirt ground and trees. A girl in a blue patterned top and a boy in a yellow t-shirt with a wooden bead mala stand near a steel vessel on a stand; another boy in a striped shirt stands beside them. A woman in a dark floral top reaches toward the steel container on the right. Other children in orange and green clothing walk in the background among simple huts and tables.

A photograph of several children sitting along a concrete ledge beside an orange-painted building with red-framed windows. They are shaping damp clay or mud with their hands and small tools on the ledge. A girl in a teal-green dress with a red trim is at centre left, a girl in a yellow top sits beside her, and a boy in a red shirt and dark trousers is at far left. Another boy wears a red-and-white striped shirt at right. Bright yellow flowers grow from a plant in the foreground and pink blossoms sit along the bottom edge, with green leafy shrubbery at the right. No a person candidate is visible.

A photograph of children and adults at an ashram activity, with several people sitting and crouching against an orange wall beside red-framed windows. A girl in a pink-and-grey striped top and a small red bindi shapes a lump of wet clay in her hands, while a girl in an orange top with a pendant necklace holds up another clay piece. Behind them, a woman in a white sari with a rudraksha mala and a red wrist thread holds a spoon-like tool. Another person in a grey top reaches toward the window, and a boy in a red shirt sits in the lower left. The scene appears to be a hands-on clay-modelling session with wet hands and mud-covered fingers.
