Several brass and silver bowls hold dried wood sticks, white camphor-like pellets, shredded green leaves, red and yellow flowers, and bananas. No people are visible in the scene.

A photograph of a ritual offering spread laid out on woven straw mats on a floor. Silver and steel bowls hold sliced fruit, bananas, oranges, pomegranates, almonds, turmeric paste, vermilion-coloured flowers and pink petals, plus a plate of pale powder and a plate of dried sticks. A row of brass oil lamps stands along the right side, and several seated people in white and yellow clothing sit at the edge of the frame, their faces and bodies largely cut off. Rows of small covered bowls and sweets are arranged on a tiered stone-like platform at the back left, with a bell and a brass vessel nearby.

A photograph of a homa (fire ritual) set-up on a bare floor. Several brick fire pits are arranged with dry wood logs, a brass pot of mango pieces, banana leaves, marigold garlands, bowls of flower petals and fruit, a brass oil lamp, a bundle of green leaves in a decorated pot, and a yellow kalasha-like cone. Striped cloth mats are spread around, and a partially visible person in white dhoti and striped shawl stands at the upper right edge. No identifiable ceremonial figure is clearly shown, so the a person field is unsure.
