The murti wears a pink silk sari, a gold necklace and a green headdress and is framed by garlands of red, white, purple and yellow flowers. Two golden standing figures flank the murti, one holding a lamp, and a silver-topped umbrella hangs above. Brass oil lamps stand on the stage, and a backdrop shows a red illuminated temple tower with a starry sky, with a 'a person' copyright credit in the lower right.2018-04-25September 24 20172017-09-24 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple-style puja on a stage with a dark backdrop showing a red temple tower. A man with long dark dreadlocks wearing a rust-red wrap stands barefoot on the left, hands folded in namaskar, facing a garlanded silver throne. On the right, a murti of a deity dressed in pink and gold garments sits on a golden throne decorated with red, white and purple flower garlands, under an ornate umbrella. Two gold-coloured standing statues of attendant figures and brass lamps flank the central throne. The man's appearance has several cues associated with a person, but the figure is partly cropped and not clearly identifiable, so the appearance is uncertain.2018-04-25A long-haired man with long dreadlocks seen from behind stands in an orange-brown cloth before an ornately decorated deity murti at a temple, with a shaved-headed figure elsewhere? No. Center: a standing bare-shouldered man in saffron-orange dhoti and a rudraksha mala faces a deity murti framed by a gold arch and dense garlands of red, yellow, green and white flowers. Brass lamps and a silver bowl stand on the floor in front of the murti. To the left, a white-clad statue wearing a yellow-and-white garland stands on a black pedestal, and a red-and-white striped mat covers the floor. The scene suggests a puja or darshan.2018-05-30A man with long dark dreadlocks, wearing a rust-red dhoti and bare-chested with a shawl, stands barefoot at left with palms pressed together in anjali, facing a golden deity murti of a goddess seated on an ornate peetha throne beneath a small gold parasol. Two gold attendant statues stand with folded hands on either side of the central murti. The deity wears a pink sari, layered jewellery, and is decorated with garlands in red, purple and white. To the right, another richly decorated deity murti in green silk and gold ornaments is adorned with garlands. Behind them a backdrop shows a glowing temple gopuram at dusk. Brass railings and silver lamps are in the foreground.2018-04-25September 24 20172017-09-24 +2 copies
