A photograph taken at night at an outdoor event lit by strings of lights. A man in an orange turban, orange robe and a rudraksha mala smiles while presenting a silver tray covered with plastic wrap. He reaches out to a bald, moustached man in a white shirt who wears a white flower garland and a red-and-gold silk shawl, and who bends forward as if receiving blessing. Behind them a man in white with a yellow sash stands near a microphone stand, and spectators and a row of people are visible in the background.

Behind them, two women stand: one in an orange-and-gold sari with a dark bead mala and a red-brown shawl, the other in a white sari with gold border, a dark bead mala and a red-brown shawl, touching her chest and smiling, with a white tilak on her forehead. At centre, a smiling man with long dark swept-back hair and a red tilak on his forehead wears a white and gold-bordered dhoti and shawl, a long red-and-pink flower garland, and layered gold beaded necklaces with a gold pendant. Around him stand men in orange saffron robes and orange shawls, one holding a tall gold staff, one bearded, and a younger man in an orange-gold kurta with a white tilak and beaded necklaces. An older man on the right in a cream kurta and orange shawl wears glasses. A golden kalasha-topped pole and fringed parasol edging appear behind the crowd.2009-01-01A photograph of a man seated on an ornate silver throne with carved lion-head arms and a tall silver backrest, before red drapes. He wears an orange-brown turban with silver ornaments, an orange-saffron robe with gold borders, a bare upper torso with orange armbands, and multiple rudraksha malas. He sits with palms pressed together in namaste and smiles toward the audience, a microphone on a stand beside him. A small framed portrait sits on a side table. Swamiji (probable): the saffron clothing, orange turban, rudraksha malas and ceremonial throne setting match the presentation cues for the Nithyananda Paramashivam candidate; identity is appearance-based only.2017-10-16October 24 20152015-10-24October 15 20172017-10-15
