Close photo of a silver-faced deity murti adorned for festival worship, wearing an ornate jewelled crown with pink and green stones and a dense layered necklace of rubies, emeralds and white stones over a purple-and-maroon garment. Green leaves and bright yellow marigold garlands frame the figure, and a green velvet decorated arm-like ornament rises at left. Blurred figures in light clothing stand in the background, and a golden lamp glow appears at the top. The murti is a statue, not a physical person.2012-01-08November 05 20102010-11-05A golden metal deity murti of a goddess, adorned with a jewelled crown, large pendant earrings, layered gold and gemstone necklaces and a purple garment. It holds a trident-like staff in one hand and a raised hand in front of a backdrop of dense red roses and green leaves. A blurred feathered fan or whisk and a partially visible second figure appear at the left edge. No living person is clearly visible apart from blurred hands at the frame edges. Decorative flower arrangement and ornate adornments suggest temple alankaram decoration.2013-02-24A gilded deity murti in an ornate festival form is decorated with an orange turban topped by a tall jewelled crown, a gold and gem-studded face and jewelled earrings. The figure wears layered gold and stone necklaces over a dark purple velvet garment, a beaded green, red and white garland draped across the chest, and a jewelled hand raised in a blessing gesture. Marigold and yellow and white flower garlands surround the murti in the background, with a gold ceremonial staff at the left edge. No physical people are visible, so this is a photograph of a statue rather than a person.2009-01-12May 07 20172017-05-07A photograph of a deity murti, a metal face with a red bindi, dressed in a crown-like headdress set with green and red stones, a red garment and heavy jewelled necklaces with gold coin ornaments. The figure sits amid dense garlands of red, yellow and white flowers, with a purple silk cloth draped below. A partially visible person in a green garment stands at the left edge.
