A temple puja scene in a bright hall with a gold-framed shrine. In the centre, a standing man in saffron robes and a saffron head cloth, wearing a gold necklace, stands before the shrine, but his appearance does not clearly match the a person cues, so he is described as a priest in saffron. Behind him, deity murtis and figures are adorned with yellow and orange marigold garlands. A man in saffron on the left holds a tall lit oil lamp (aarti) with a large flame, while a camera operator films nearby. Seated devotees in white and cream clothes and sarees, including women in gold-bordered saris, sit on a red patterned mat making offerings and performing puja. Brass oil lamps and a small brass bell sit on the floor.2011-12-17A temple puja scene on a raised stage before a gilded shrine decorated with marigold garlands. A figure in saffron robes and an orange turban sits on a throne-like seat at the centre, with orange-robed and white-clad people seated on red mats before him. A tall multi-tier brass lamp with many lit oil lamps stands to the left, and a standing priest in orange cloth holds a ritual item near a brass tray. Deity murti stand within the altar, and a camera operator is visible at the upper left. Behind the shrine, a backdrop with a golden arch and the word NITHYA partially visible.2011-12-17A seated figure in an orange-saffron robe and red shawl sits on a gold ornate throne with red cushions, a trident-topped staff beside him and a rudraksha-style mala around his neck, flanked by garlands of marigolds and multicoloured flowers. Around him, devotees in white dhotis and white shawls sit on an orange mat, several holding brass and silver puja plates with flowers, fruit and lamps, and one holds a small cup. A gold peetha-style stand holds offerings and a deity murti decorated with garlands stands at the right edge. The setting is an indoor hall with a dark backdrop. The seated figure has distinctive saffron clothing, long swept hair and ceremonial adornments, consistent with a person appearance, though this is only appearance-based and uncertain.2010-11-14November 14 20102010-11-14November 15 20102010-11-15November 18 20102010-11-18 +1 copiesNovember 14 20102010-11-14A seated man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions at the centre of a decorated stage. Garlanded deity murti and a golden throne flank him, and a large yellow canopy hangs above. Several people in white dhotis and saris sit on the floor in front of him, some with brass vessels, while a musician in orange sits at left with a harmonium-style instrument and microphone. Marigold and rose garlands drape the murtis and frame. The backdrop shows painted temple gopuram architecture. Description: appearance-based label for the seated figure is probable, based on the saffron robe, rudraksha mala and throne, with the stage role as a teacher giving a satsang.2010-11-14November 12 20102010-11-12July 31 20152015-07-31A seated man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, bare-chested, wearing a long rudraksha mala, sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions in front of a decorated altar. Behind him, two large deity murtis are draped in marigold and rose garlands, with a green garland bed. Around the throne, devotees in white and cream garments, several women in white and yellow saris, and a man in white dhoti with maroon border kneel or sit with hands folded in prayer. Golden flanking thrones hold garlanded figures. A backdrop shows temple pillars and forest imagery. The scene suggests a satsang or puja setting. Five people are visible.2010-11-14November 13 20102010-11-13
