A photograph of a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes holding a brass multi-wick oil lamp in one hand and a small bell in the other, with flames rising from the lamp. He wears gold beaded necklaces and a gold pendant, with a light vertical tilak on his forehead. Smoke drifts across the left side, and green mango-style leaves hang overhead. The page indicates this is a Chandi Homa event, but the figure's appearance is a shaved-head priest in saffron with gold beads, lacking the long hair or crown cues needed to confirm the person named on the page, so the identity is uncertain.2009-09-25A shaved-headed man in an orange saffron robe and an orange head covering stands in smoke, holding a bronze multi-wick oil lamp with bright flames in his right hand and a small bell in his left. He wears a long gold-toned bead necklace, and a white mark is visible on his forehead. Green leaves hang in the background.2009-09-25A man in a saffron-orange and maroon dhoti-style wrap stands against a dark night background, holding a silver aarti lamp with a large flame in his raised right hand and a brass bell in his left. He wears a long necklace of gold beads with a pendant, bangles on his wrist, and looks upward toward the flame. Smoke rises from the lamp at the top left. This appears to be an evening aarti ritual. The man has short dark hair and no visible crown or long hair, so his identity cannot be confirmed from appearance; he is described by role as a priest performing aarti.2012-10-16A photograph of a shaved-headed man in an orange-saffron robe with a darker red-maroon border stands at night holding a brass multi-wick aarti lamp with flames rising from several wicks, and a brass bell in his other hand. He wears a long gold-toned beaded necklace and a white horizontal forehead mark with a red dot. Leaves hang above and a leafy plant stands behind him against a dark background. The scene suggests a night aarti performed in the open. The man is a priest or sannyasi performing the aarti; appearance is a shaved head in saffron with no long hair, crown or rudraksha malas, so his identity is uncertain.2009-09-27A photograph of a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange draped clothing and a beaded rudraksha-style necklace holding a tiered brass aarti lamp with many lit flames. He has white tilak markings on his forehead and appears to be chanting or speaking. The warm, hazy background suggests a ritual setting with lamplight.2012-09-09A young man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl stands in profile holding a tall brass aarti lamp with multiple tiers of lit oil lamps, flames glowing. He wears a rudraksha mala, white vibhuti marks on forehead and arm, and a red kumkum dot. Blurred seated devotees in orange and white clothing are visible at the lower edge of a pink-walled hall with framed pictures and an air conditioner.
